Polypropylene fiber anti-corrosion tape is an anti-corrosion material applicable to external anti-corrosion and repair projects of steel pipelines and buried steel storage tanks in oil, natural gas, chemical, and urban construction industries, including water supply and drainage, oil and gas transmission, and coal gas transmission. This product is also used for pipeline connection and joint repair in 3PE and other anti-corrosion systems, serving as a replacement for heat-shrinkable sleeves/tapes; it can also be used as an external protective tape for viscoelastic anti-corrosion materials.
The base material of this product is polypropylene woven fiber cloth, with butyl rubber modified asphalt as the anti-corrosion adhesive layer. Its fiber structure base material can resist creep damage caused by soil stress. Based on the experience of similar products abroad, its corrosion resistance life is over 30 years. All testing indicators meet the requirements of SY/T0414-2017 standard and comply with the American ANSI/AWWAC209-00 and NACEMR0274-95 standards. This product features impact resistance, aging resistance, tensile strength, UV radiation resistance, and high bonding strength.
