Weak Adhesive OPP Bag Sealing Tape is a double-sided resealable tape designed for plastic bags that require easy opening, repeated closing, and lower peel force. Compared with standard resealable tapes, the weak-adhesive version reduces the force required to open the bag, making it especially suitable for thin or lightweight plastic bags that may stretch or wrinkle when a stronger adhesive is used.

Common Widths and Custom Options

Bag sealing tape is commonly specified by three dimensions:

Release liner width / permanent adhesive width / resealable adhesive width

For example: 12 / 5 / 7 mm. The complete liner and adhesive construction should match the required bag flap and sealing area.

Common resealable bag sealing tape widths range from about 8.5 mm to 18 mm. Other widths can be produced depending on the bag and machine configuration.

Comparing Weak Adhesive to Standard Resealable Tape

Not all bags need strong adhesion. When very thin PE or LDPE film is used, a stronger resealable adhesive may create too much resistance during opening.
